Free-Form Felt Blocking and Draping with Elwyn Crawford
I was impressed with Elwyn’s ability to convey the basics of this complex craft. She moved effortlessly between modeling the steps and encouraging us to create and discover on our own. She had an intuitive feel for our personal learning styles as well as our personal aesthetics, and she was able to give each of us the attention, direction, or space that we needed throughout the process. Elwyn was patient and enthusiastic.

As a teacher, Elwyn was impressively supportive and thorough. She had an intuitive feel for where to give specific instruction, and where to offer possibilities, while allowing space for each of us to develop our own creative process. There was a lot to cover, and yet she gracefully managed to juggle all of our various needs and questions throughout the busy day, always giving her full, patient attention to the matter at hand. I have been wearing my hat all week and have received numerous compliments on it, but most importantly I love it!
